Freshly Made Sketches #323 - A Sketch by Karren

I really like when there is black and white Designer Series Paper, so I was super excited about the Petal Passion DSP. It can be used with almost any other color, or just those two, which is what I did for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Freshly Made Sketches #322 - A Sketch by Cécile

The Lots of Lavender stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog has me longing for spring. Especially when it's 2 degrees outside! I thought it would work well for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I hope the ground hog was wrong this year. Six more weeks of winter doesn't sound too good. Bring on spring!!

CAS(E) this Sketch #247

I haven't had much time lately for card making.October through the first week of November is the busiest time for me. I did get to spend this last week in Florida for work, so that was nice. I did have to miss Stampin' Up On Stage though.

I've been wanting to use the Winter Wonder embossing folder for awhile. The sketch for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch was the perfect opportunity to use it.

Here is my take on the sketch:

The silver foil is difficult to photograph. I guess you have to take my word for it that it looks better than it does in the photo.

Freshly Made Sketches #306- a sketch by Jen M.

It's been close to 90 degrees for the past 3-4 days in Minnesota, so why not do a Christmas card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge! Honestly, the first day of Autumn arrives and it's hotter than it was most of the summer. Nice excuse to stay indoors and make cards!
