Freshly Made Sketches #336 - A Sketch by Jen M.

I've had very little time or motivation for card making lately. I was excited to have some time to myself today to get a card done for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge. My motivation was having to actually buy my mother a Mother's day card that cost $7.50. I wish I had found the time to make her one, but I did find one that made her cry!

Here is my take on the sketch:

I really like when there is black and white Designer Series Paper, so I was super excited about the Petal Passion DSP. It can be used with almost any other color, or just those two, which is what I did for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Freshly Made Sketches #322 - A Sketch by C├ęcile

The Lots of Lavender stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog has me longing for spring. Especially when it's 2 degrees outside! I thought it would work well for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I hope the ground hog was wrong this year. Six more weeks of winter doesn't sound too good. Bring on spring!!

CAS(E) this Sketch #247

I haven't had much time lately for card making.October through the first week of November is the busiest time for me. I did get to spend this last week in Florida for work, so that was nice. I did have to miss Stampin' Up On Stage though.

I've been wanting to use the Winter Wonder embossing folder for awhile. The sketch for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch was the perfect opportunity to use it.

Here is my take on the sketch:

The silver foil is difficult to photograph. I guess you have to take my word for it that it looks better than it does in the photo.
