I wanted to do a sympathy card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I thought the paper from Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper sort of resembled raindrops and would work well for a sympathy card.

Fab Friday #117

I was determined to use a pink and gray combo for a card today. I tried multiple designs, but didn't like anything. I tired the sketch for Fab Friday #117 and voila!

For some reason, I always assume that I have Stampin' Up's! Definitely Dahlia background stamp. I'll go to use it and I don't have it. I finally ordered it. I just got it today, so I thought it'd be great for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Freshly Made Sketches #295- a sketch by Narelle

I think the new Stampin' Up! daisy punch is my new go to flower. I love daisies anyway, but it makes such gorgeous flowers! I used it for this week's Freshly Made Sketches without any stamping, and it looks great that way too!

Here is my take on the sketch: 

Unfortunately, the Night of Navy square looks almost black. I don't know if that lighting or because the DSP is a bit lighter than the cardstock. Oh well!

I wanted to go really simple for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge and. I sure did. Sometimes, it's just got to be a quick card. It took me longer to figure out my color scheme than it did to actually make the card!
